The Bulgarian Information Consortium Program “Common Subscription” is succeeding its 5th year. We have faced various obstacles in achieving awareness among Bulgarian libraries on the usefulness and benefits for joining the initiative. After a period of 5 years we may report success in attracting more library participants, increase of access not only to the print but as well to the online version of subscribed titles and lower subscription rates.
